Have you ever wondered whose job it was to keep the workplace safe? There is a profession called an Industrial Hygienist who works behind the scenes to help with the many potential dangers that could lie within the workplace environment. This could be something more serious like chemicals or biohazards or even something as simple as replacing the creaky furniture with a newer more secure type like express furniture. An industrial hygienist has an important job in ensuring the safety of everyone at that workplace location and even the community. If they were to find bio hazards or chemicals that could potentially put the community at risk they have to work with that place of employment to ensure measures are being taken to decrease this risk. And they must also ensure an emergency plan has been put in place in case something dangerous could happen. In all scenarios an industrial hygienist would prefer aneasier choice of helping to replace old furniture with newer models such as express furniture. But it doesn’t always play out that way for them. In order to become an industrial hygienist one must attend many years of schooling, and have a mandatory 3 years of hands on Industrial hygiene experience. In order to get the full experience of an industrial hygienist you must understand exactly what needs to be done in order to go to school and become a hygienist. If you are considered with anything at your workplace it may be time to think of contacting someone in the Industrial Hygiene department to help evaluate the situation. You never know they may just have an easy job at replacing old worn out furniture with a newer model such as express furniture.
